Words cannot express how much I will miss my big Brother. As the oldest son, and I the oldest daughter, we have always had a special bond, death has only placed a hold on it. I will again hear "Deedi! Hi' u doin"? Hick, we had many biblical knowledge and meanings conversations, so rest easy until the rapture...

My condolences to the McCook family. I am Delma's wife and I truly enjoyed Hickey. He was a joy to be around and he fit right in with my family. He brought joy to Delma and I am glad that they were able to connect. He and Delma talked several times a week. He even came to California to repair my car. He was very knowledgeable when it came to auto mechanic. The pictures indicate what a good time he had touring California. He will be missed and know that he made his mark on earth and he is now an angel watching over his family.

Hicky, I miss you brother. I will miss talking to you several times a week and the weekly updates on Smithville and the family. I will miss your stories of our childhood and the laughter that came with the stories. I am glad that you were able to visit me here in California and that your visit was one of the joys of our time we shared together. Rest easy my brother and we shall meet again. Delma (hey cuzz)

Dear Dad,

You are officially laid to rest and we hope we respected your wishes. All of your kids (except for Lil Hickey) have met and we are starting to build relationships. We will keep your legacy and memory alive. I love you so much and already miss you but as Reverend Martin said you are in a better place. Catch you on the flip side, Dad.

Mica,
