Lethey Christine (Teenie) Watson

August 24,1935 to August 6, 2016

Teenie Watson, formerly of Comanche, Oklahoma passed away August 6, 2016, at her home after a long illness.

Visitation for Teenie will be Wednesday, August 10, 2016, from 5-7 pm in the chapel, Gipson Pendergrass People’s Mortuary Chapel.

Pastor Dow Pannell, her nephew of Comanche, Oklahoma will be officiating her service Thursday, August 11, 2016, at 2 pm at Gipson Pendergrass People’s Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow her funeral service in the Byler Cemetery in West Point, Texas.

Teenie was proceeded in death by her husband George Watson, sister Lawanda Powers, two brothers Dee Ratliff and Lonnie Ratliff. One grandson Jeremy Stagner and one son-in-law, Larry Stagner.

Teenie was a charter member of Countryside Baptist Church in Comanche Oklahoma. She was born the daughter of Stell and Tishey Ratliff in Stephen County Oklahoma. April 1, 1954, she married the love of her life, George Ervin Watson. They were blessed with 51 years of marriage and three surviving children. Debbie Stagner and Terrie Castleberry of Smithville, Texas, one son Bill Watson of Comanche, Oklahoma. Along with 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers include: 5 grandsons, Shane Boughton, Jeff Buell, Tim Watson, Randy Castleberry and Josh Watson, Two great-grandsons, Nick Boughton, Zach Boughton, and John Grinstead.
