“Obituary”

Shirley Ann Slaughter was born to Dorothy Mae Aldridge and Jim Willis Thompson on October 27, 1951.  She accepted Christ at an early age. She loved to cook, sing, dance and be the life of any gathering. She adored and loved being around children. Before becoming ill she was caregiver for her mother. She is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Lorraine and brothers, Freddie Thompson, Theodore Thompson, Leo Thompson, James Willis Thompson and Charles Aldridge. Also preceded by a special cousin, Les Hunter. She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Teresa Slaughter, sons, Allen Green, Jr. and Bobby Slaughter, both of Bastrop, Tx, mother, Dorothy Thompson and sisters, Faye Hatten and Carol Higgins, Bastrop, Tx and a grandson, Montreal Leonard, a host of nieces, nephews and many friends and other relatives.
