Harrell Edward Felix, of Elgin, Texas, went to be with Lord on August 4, 2019. He was born in Upton, Texas to Ben L. and Olessie B. Felix on June 14, 1944.
He served in the United State Air Force for 28 years, and retired from Tinker AFB, Oklahoma as a Chief Master Sergeant. After leaving the Air Force, he went to work for Texas Department of Public Safety for 24 years.
He is survived by his wife, Estella McConley; son, Kenneth Ray Felix; daughter, Pamela Felix; and grandson, Samuel Edward Felix. He also leaves behind two sisters, residents of Smithville, Texas; Bennie B Felix and Frankie Tolbert; three brothers: Eugene Felix, Charles Ray Felix of Smithville, Texas; and Prince Felix of Los Angles, California;, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Before moving to Elgin, Harrell was a very active City Council member in the community of Marion, Texas. He was also a member of Cedar Valley Baptist Church in Elgin Texas. He provided counseling and guidance to younger members of his churches throughout his past. He was active around the yard and love to do farming and planting like his father.
Harrell will be greatly missed. May his memories live in our hearts and minds.
