Howard Jones Jr. was born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Jones Sr, on October 30, 1956, in Bastrop County, Bastrop, Texas. He departed his life on April 15, 2019.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age und the auspices of Pastor J. D. Cleveland of the Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Utley, Texas.

Sisters: Viola Monk (Larry) of Cedar Creek, Texas; Brenda Jones of Utley, Texas; Willie Grant of Utley, Texas
Brothers: Henry Jones, Raymond Jones and Randy Jones, all of Utley, Texas
