Obituary Mr. Laverene “Pee Wee” Slaughter died age 71, in Bastrop, Texas on Thursday, Sunset July 25, 2019 Born May 26, 1948 in Bastrop, Texas to Lyzander & Letha Haywood Slaughter. He went to Bastrop Public Schools. He worked at Missouri Kansas / Texas Railroad, Colo Vista Country Club and the University of Texas – Austin, Texas Proceed in death his mother and father; wife Shirley Ann Thompson; Brothers Raymond Slaughter and Elroy Slaughter. Survivors include his daughter Theresa Slaughter and son Bobby Slaughter. One grandson Montreal Leonard. Two sisters Arlena Slaughter and Lynda Slaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
