Obituary
Leon Williams was born to Jimmy Williams Sr. and Myrtle Williams on September 20, 1944 in Bastrop County, Texas.
Leon accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age by Reverend J.R. Williams.
He was preceded in death by both parents; five brothers, Rayford Williams, Jimmie Williams Jr., Jessie Williams, Bruce Williams and Ronnie Williams; and one sister Ruthie Mae Williams.
Leon received his education from the Manor Independent School District. His favorite hobbies were dancing and music. He loved to play the guitar and the harmonica.
He was employed at A-Line Fence Company for ten (10) years. Leon was also employed and retired from the Longhorn Disposal Company.
Leon leaves to cherish his memories: his best friend and wife of forty- four (44) years, Lois Williams; six daughters, Sonia Veal, Neachole Veal and Natasha Veal all of Pflugerville, Texas; Kimberly Williams of Fort Worth, Texas, Nekol Thomas and Sherrie Williams of Austin, Texas. One brother, Leonard Williams of Austin, Texas. Eleven grand-children and five great- grand children. A special friend James Hopes and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
