Maureen Helen (Ross) Ogle

Maureen Helen Ogle age 69

Born August 4, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. Left this world December 6, 2017 at 4:20am, in Austin, Texas.

Maureen has resided in Smithville, Texas for thirty three years. She dedicated her life to saving the lives of our community members as a paramedic and swift water rescuer. She also worked triage at Smithville Regional Hospital. As time went on, and she was no longer physically capable of for filling her duties, she became a 911 dispatcher, still serving her community to the best of her ability. She was a substitute teacher, a school bus driver, as well as an active community volunteer and an avid animal advocate.

She is preceded in death by her son Brian Ogle and survived by her brother Billy Ross, her two sons Steven Ogle and David Ogle , five grandchildren,  4 great grandchildren. As well as many other beloved family members and friends.

And that's exactly what she did. Every life she touched was so much better. Just to have simply known her.
