Shawn Eugene Williams

Shawn Eugene Williams Sr. was born on June 26, 1977 in Austin, TX.  He was the only child of Horace and Ophelia Williams (Taylor).  He attended public school in Bastrop, TX.  He professed a Hope in Christ and united with Mt. Olive Missionary Church under the leadership of Rev. L.J. Thorne and later under Rev. Alfred Revetta.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Horace and Ophelia Williams, one sister, grandmother Ida Bell King and great grandmother Martha Roberson.

In August 2001 he was united with Taneisha Mathers Williams and to this union, three children were born.

Shawn leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 16 years, Taneisha, two sons, Shawn Williams Jr. and Fayzion Madison, three daughters, TaShawnna and Tiana Williams, and Demonie Mathews all of Bastrop TX, one sister Rhonda Henley of Lewisville, TX, two aunts Alice Slider and Lola Jones of Bastrop, TX, one brother-in-law LaMarcus Mathews of Austin, TX, three special cousins, sister Donna “Muffi” (Don) Green of Bastrop TX, brother Bryan Williams of Austin TX, and Chris Aldridge, Sr. of Bastrop, TX, mother-in-law Lana Mathews of Bastrop, TX, and a host of nieces and nephews, special cousins and friends.

A Transition of Life

Now I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither cloth corruption inherit incorruption.  Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment.  In the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump; for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.
