Timothy Hicks Trimble
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Tim Trimble on October 3, 2018. He was born on August 21, 1957 in Springfield,IL, to Howard Hicks and Lois Jean (Snyder) Trimble.
After extensive travels with a military family, Tim joined his parents and many of his siblings to make New Braunfels his home.
Tim was a highly skilled carpenter and lover of art, expressing his creative side in many different forms. He so enjoyed spending time along the banks of the river serenading friends and family with his unique ballads.
There was no end to Tim's talents, whether it be over a campfire or in the kitchen. He could whip up culinary delights in no time at all. Cooking was one of his greatest pleasures.
Tim will rejoin those who went before him, his mother and father, twin sister Georgia Williams, and eldest brother, Tom Trimble.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter Emily Ivester Haselhorst (Eric), of Austin, sisters, Carol Trimble Burrow (Al), Ellen Trimble Snider (Don), both of New Braunfels, and youngest brother, Ted Trimble (Stephanie Los Trimble), of Utah.
Tim leaves behind grandson Jack Walter Haselhorst, and Jack's baby brother due in December.
Many nieces and nephews will miss their Uncle Tim and his amusing stories along with his great sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed by his many friends here and abroad. All are invited to attend a tribute to Tim on October 27th from 2-5 pm at Landa Park Section 7.
