On Saturday, July 9, 2022, a beautiful butterfly emerged from her cocoon and touched down in heaven. At an early age, Belinda M Jackson - Brown came to know and accept Christ as her Lord and Savior. After graduating from Round Rock High School in 1984, she worked to care for her family.
Regardless of her childhood circumstances, Belinda was always obedient, loving, and respectful.
Belinda loved being a social butterfly, making others feel good and appreciated. She was a ROCK for her family and a FAITHFUL friend.
Belinda loved the Dallas Cowboys and University of Texas Longhorns football team. She enjoyed playing games with her family and friends. She was a champ in Skip-Bo and dominoes. She wanted to teach everyone to play Skip-Bo, so they knew the game. We will miss her loving smile and warm personality.
Belinda is preceded in death by her mom, Wanda Jackson, and her mother, Annie Mae Wright.
She leaves to celebrate her life memories; her husband, Larry Drake; son, Jordan Brown; her siblings, brother, Leon Jackson (wife: Rose); sisters, Christine Houston and Pam Jackson; nieces Koko, Meme, Samone, Mariah, and Alyssa and nephews, Dominic, Trent, and Donnell, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and all her life-long friends.
