Britney Dawn Trevino, age 38 passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020, at her home, gathered around her family. She was born September 22, 1982 to her parents, William Slocumb and Connie Slocumb Williams, in Birmingham, Alabama. On April 12, 2001, she gave birth to Kayleigh Nicole Carson. She married Francisco Javier Trevino on April 19, 2003, in Birmingham, Alabama. Moved to Smithville, Texas in 2003, where she began to get involved with the church and the community. Britney was a Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, Youth Counselor, and was an active member in the Women’s Ministry. Britney had an exceptional ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and became a very good friend to many in the community. Britney truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with friends and family, snacking, watching movies, and spending time with her daughters, son, nephews, and nieces.
She is survived by her husband, Francisco; son, Francisco Jr.; daughters, Kayleigh and Jocelyn. Her parents, William and his wife Terri Slocumb, Amber and Cody; Connie and her husband Brent Williams; and brother, Brandon Slocumb, his wife Youlanda, Cici, and James.
