Dorothy Lee Nolan

Dorothy Lee Nolan, “Mommie” was born September 24, 1939 to Earlie Gilmore and Leola Bean-Gilmore of Smithville, Texas. She attended the colored school in Smithville, Texas. Dorothy was the youngest of eight children and found Christ at an early age. Her devotion to the Baptist faith was seamless. She was joined in holy matrimony to Seth Nolan. She enjoyed gardening and listening to music. As well as family events, seeing everyone together brought her happiness, which allowed her to continuously smile.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her father, mother, three sisters, and three brothers. She leaves to cherish her memories one sister, seven children, six grandchildren, five great- grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
