Felicia Michelle Deen

Felicia Michelle McLaurin Deen was born in Austin, Tx. To Marvin and Willie Louise McLaurin on September 27, 1962. Shell was the second of six children. She received her education at Bastrop High School in 1980 in Bastrop, Tx. Shell later moved to Los Angeles, California for several years where she accepted her calling and joined the Beloved Church of Christ. She then moved back to Texas where she met Clyde Walker (deceased) of Austin, Tx. The father of Terrance McLaurin of Bastrop, Tx. She later met the love of her life Muhammed Deen in which her daughter Jennifer Deen was born in Los Angeles, California. Shell finally decided to move back to Texas and where she met Nathaniel Mewborn the father of Christopher Mewborn of Austin, Tx. While in Texas she worked in retail and as a Home Healthcare Provider.

Shell had a calling into the ministry where she continued at Blessed Hope Christian Ministries of Bastrop, Tx. Under Pastor Bernard Davis. Shell was also part of the Praise and Worship team and loved to sing.

Shell is preceded in death by Robert and Addie McLaurin, Alfredo Cater (grandparents), Marvin and Louise McLaurin (parents), Robert McLaurin Jr. (uncle), (2Aunts) Ruthie McLaurin and Helen Davis and (3Cousins) Tina Wilson, David Burden Amd Adron Houston. She leaves to cherish her memories two sons Terrance McLaurin and Christopher Mewborn, daughter Jennifer Deen. Three grandchildren Marcus & Aaliyah Pointer and Zoey McLaurin. Sibilings: two sisters Rhonda, Carolyn, and two sister-in-laws Cynthia and Patricia. Three brothers: Michael, Byron and Kenneth. Five Aunties and Four uncles and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
