Gerald Bernard Gentry was born on January 20, 1973, and parted this life on Monday January 30, 2023. He was the third of five children born to Johnnie Mae and Clarence Gentry Jr.
He was baptized iat Fontaine Memorial Baptist Church in Austin, Texas at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ at New Flower Hill Baptist Church in Smithville, Texas.
He attended Smithville High School and graduated in the Senior class of 1992. He was employed at the City of Smithville for a short period of time.
Gerald is proceeded in death by Clarence Gentry Jr, (Father), Tharon Keith Oliver (Brother), Nora McCarther (Grandmother), Howard McCarther ( Grandfather), Lois Charles Oliver ( Grandfather) and Callie Taylor (Aunt).
He leaves to mourn his passing Johnnie Mae Gentry (Mother), Abilene Oliver (Grandmother). Three children (Devin)Heavenlee Stobbs Hawkins (Daughter(, Malik Deary (Son) and Eriqua Williams (Daughter). Brother Craig Oliver (Sylvia), (Sister) Camilla Moore (Edward), (Sister) Terika Black (Courtney), Bridget Gentry (Sister), Chrisanthea Gentry (Sister), Janie Tatum (Aunt), Barbara Burleson (Aunt) and Wanda Hall (Aunt). Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
