Dell “Mack” Hyer, 80, passed away on December 12, 2021, at the family ranch in Rosanky, Texas.
Born in Belton, Texas, he was the son of Odell and Corinne Hyer. He graduated from Texas A&M
University in 1963 with a bachelor’s degree in business. He was retired from ABB Vetco Gray and
enjoyed part-time employment at Smith’s Supply in Smithville, Texas.
He enjoyed ranching and rodeo and will be remembered for his kind heart and friendly personality. He
would help anyone in need.
He is survived by his significant other, Sue Whited; two daughters, Karen Wysocki and Pamela Morris;
three grandchildren, Elizabeth Wick, Michael Wysocki and John Luke Wysocki. He was predeceased by
his wife, Cheryl Hyer.
The Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 5:00 PM at the Rosanky
Icehouse at 2989 TX-304, Rosanky, Texas. He will be laid to rest at 4 PM at the Rosanky Cemetery at
2276 Farm to Market 535, Rosanky, Texas. Everyone is welcome.
