Nickolas Eric Hartman

Nickolas Hartman, 26, of Smithville, TX passed away on October 9, 2021 in Bastrop TX.

Nickolas was born in Livingston, TX. He is survived by his father Bryan Hartman & step mother Leah Hartman, his mother, Julie Kay Harless and step father John Harmless,, and his brothers Josh and Elijah.

Nick had a huge heart. His smile would light up any room he walked into. He loved animals, especially his dog Buddy. Nick loved listening to music and spending time with his friends and his dad, “Popz”. Nick loved the outdoors. He loved spending time on the river and fishing with his dad. Nick was so talented. He worked on his truck, built fences on the ranch, wrangled sheep and goats…he just never stopped.

Nick loved to cook. He brought the same passion for cooking as he did to everything else in his life.  Nick worked as a chef at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort. He had recently been promoted to Kitchen Manager. His goal was to become head chef one day.

Nick made friends everywhere he went. His grin was infectious. To know Nick was to love him. We will miss you dearly, Nick.
