Obedient Floyd, lovingly known as “OB”, passed peacefully in the early hours of April third.
OB was born in Weimer, TX in 1943 to Johnnie and Idealier Gardner. OB then moved to San Antonio where she met her future husband Raleigh Floyd. Shortly after their union they decided to move to California. OB was blessed with a passionate marriage of 21 years to Raleigh Floyd and three cherished children Alonzo Floyd, Rochelle Floyd, and Tina Floyd.
Raising three children with love and devotion while working as an assembly maker was no easy task, but OB got it done. She also found time for her personal interests as well
During her life OB found she thoroughly enjoyed gardening, she grew various plants her favorite being Ivy. OB was also a collector of many things. She collected fine jewelry, while she spent quality time with her son Alonzo at Delco diamonds. She also loved to collect silver dollars and two-dollar bills. In addition to being a collector OB found that she loved to travel to Las Vegas with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Aside from her children she doted on, OB is survived by grandchildren, Ashton Hodge and Darien Floyd, her brother Johnnie Gardner and her favorite pet Champion.
