Patricia Courtney Obituary
Pat was born Patricia Courtney in Brooklyn, New York on March 11, 1949.
Pat lead a heroic life battling epilepsy, emphysema, COPD and asthma most of her life. Despite all her physical challenges, Pat was a force of compassion championing the poor, mentally ill, addicts, victims of domestic abuse, children and of course animals of all kinds.
On April 14, 2022, Pat surrendered her life on this plane and moved on with her spiritual journey.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Alva and Edward Courtney and her brother, Richie Courtney.
Pat is survived by her beloved pets, Dakota, Blue and Arthur. Her adopted family Carol Gino, Danny Costlow, Barbara Sparke, Jennifer Sparke Pereira, Chris Sparke, Jessice Wani, Ashley Nicole, Shari Griswold and Lynn Lloyd and countless friends who loved her and were loved by her.
