Reginald Nicholson, affectionately known as “Reggie”, was born in Bastrop, Texas on June10, 1966, to Georgia Dean Nicholson and the late Louis Haywood, Jr. He departed this life on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
At an early age he was introduced to Christ and joined Macedonia Baptist Church in Bastrop, Texas. Reggie attended public schools and graduated from Bastrop High School in 1985.
After completing high school and during his lifetime, Reggie was employed by several companies to include Walmart, Dell Computer, and Target Stores. He loved football and was an avid fan of various football teams. Reggie spent his leisure time watching sports and spending time with his family and friends. Reggie was born with an entrepreneur spirit. He tried his hand at various services to include: developing essential oils and fragrances and other tasks to make a decent living.
Reggie never met a stranger. He was kind to everyone that he met and was known as a loving and dedicated son to his mother.
Reggie is predeceased by his father, Louis Haywood, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are: his son, Kendall Nicholson; mother, Georgia Nicholson of Bastrop, TX.; sister, Marilyn Atkinson of North Little Rock, AR.; brother, Breant Nicholson of Bastrop, TX.; sister, Ava Haywood of Bastrop, TX; sister, Carolyn Nicholson-Warren (Brandon) of Bastrop, TX.; brother Vaughan Nicholson (Margie) of Austin, TX.; and brother, Vincent Nicholson of Bastrop, TX.; as well as a host nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Reggie also shared a special brotherhood with long-term friends, Tim Juarez, Kurt Thomas, Eric Calloway, and Bobby Wallace.
Reggie will be greatly missed; but never forgotten!
