Robert Clemons Jr was born to Robert (Bob) and Ella (Toose) Clemons in Bastrop, Texas on November 1,1932.
He was the first child born of nine brothers and sisters.
Robert accepted Christ at a early age of 8 years old and was baptized by Rev A. H. Brown at Antioch Baptist Church.
He was the president of the Brothers Association of Antioch Baptist Church. He was also a member of the church choir he was a faithful member until he became ill of old age. He attended school at Clearview Elementary.
On his journey of his life, he was married to Origrieree Clemons. They had 6 children. Later on in life, he met soulmate Emma Clemons. They had 3 children together. He started a career in 1962, at Faulkner Construction, he worked there for 30 plus years and retired in 1994. He later started working at M.E. Gene Johnson Garage in 1999 with his brother Sammy Lee Clemons until September 6, 2019.
Robert moved on from this early walk to be joined and unite with his mother Ella and father Bob and his 6 brothers Bobby (Big Black), Hillard (Rabbit), Charles (Wolf), Wille Green (Telo), Sammie Lee (Sam), Henry (Joe Louis) & sister Rose Mae (Tuda), his son Victor Clemons and his wife Emma Clemons who all preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his seven children Robert L. Clemons (Barbra), Cliff Clemons (Marcy), Ted Clemons (Gladys), Viola (Gaye), Stacey Moore (Ronnie) of Bastop, Texas; Keith Clemons, Erica Clemons (Derrick) and LaQuisha Clemons of Austin, Texas; 35 grandkids; 61 great grandkids; 6 great great grandkids; two god grandkids LaQuayya and RuQuayya Thompson; 2 brothers TC (Deb) Clemons and Morris Clemons of Bastrop, Texas; 2 sisters Ruthie Jackson Krocker of Westchester, CA and Katherine Thompson of Los Angeles, CA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
