Rosemary Taylor Hopkins Lester, was the ninth child born to Perry & Teleslie Taylor on the 28th Day of March 1945 in Bastrop, Texas.

She accepted God at an early age.

Rosemary attended Grimes Elementary School then Emile High School in Bastrop, Texas. Then she married Marion Hopkins and to this union one daughter was born, Rosemarionette Hopkins. Later she married Sammie Wendell Lester, which led Rosemary to go back to further her education. She attended St. Phillips College in San Antionio, Texas. There she earned her Associates Degree, Real Estate License and attended University of Texas in Austin, Texas. 

Rosemary enjoyed sewing, working and playing games with her nieces and nephews.

Rosemary is preceded in death by both her parents, Perry and Teleslie Taylor, Brothers Charlie Woodrow, Jimmie Lee, Bryson and Aaron Taylor. Sisters Wilma Lee Mayes, Vera E. Hyder, Hosie E. Hickman and Teleslie (Toppie) Taylor.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory one daughter Rosemarionette Hopkins, two sisters Perrie Lee Hodge and Beverly "Pat" McDonald (Chester) and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.`
