Theresa Denise Peterson

A bouncing baby girl was born December 19, 1965 in Bastrop, Texas. She is the second child born to Ella and Otis Peterson of Bastrop. Theresa attended school in BISD and AISD. She was a great and supportive sister, loving mother, amazingly loving grandmother and a reliable friend to all who knew her. The children in her neighborhood knew her as the candy lady. They could count on her to give them loads of treats for only a few cents. Her favorite past time was caring for her grandchildren and greeting friends with her bright and beautiful smile. One could always count on her to be a listening ear with a generous heart. She would give to anyone in need help, even if were her last dollar. Her presence will remain in our hearts forever.

She is proceeded in death by her loving father, Otis Peterson, and one child, grandparents, uncles and aunts. Theresa leaves to cherish her memory to her mother Ella Peterson, her precious children Myeshia, Dorothy, Johnathan, Mia, Isaiah, Paris and Toni. Her love extends to her 22 grandchildren, her brothers Darwin, Zachary, Terrance and Ken, four aunts Grace Childres, Stephanie Benford, Jeanett Woods and Janice Williams. Six uncles Ricky Peterson, Maxwell Benford, Ricky Benford, Raymond Brown, Henry Brown, Lonnie Benford and Frederick Johnson. Also, she respectfully sends her love to her many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
