Tom West Obituary

Tom Fischer West was born in Corpus Christi on August 15 1955 to Irene Lenore Lewis and Glen Dexter West. On Thursday, June 30, 2022, Tommy, loving partner, father, grandfather and friend, passed away at age 66. He is survived by his sister Pam, his daughter Whitney and granddaughter Avery Joy.

Tommy was well known for his love of music, dancing, hunting, carpentry work, and the Dallas Cowboys. Perhaps his most notorious passion was his love for the Cowboys as a devoted fan of many years (hide the shoes!). His love of dancing was demonstrated by his conversion of a garage into a small and cozy dance hall where friends and family could gather to dance the night away. Over the years he would renovate many homes, taking something old or worn and giving it new life and purpose. Working with his hands relaxed him and gave him a great sense of accomplishment. He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at a later date and details will be shared soon.
